Terms and conditions for event tickets:
Concessions
All events have a ‘pay-what-you-can’ option with a minimum spend of £1. This is for anyone who is (or is buying a ticket for a person who is):
- Under 16
- A student in fulltime education.
- An audience member with a registered disability or a carer for an audience member with a disability.
- In receipt of benefits or Universal Credit.
- Stretching to buy a lot of tickets and promotion the event to friends and family (thank you!)
Or…
- Generally is feeling a bit short this month/year and appreciative of discount.
No proof is required of any of the above – please just purchase the ticket and enjoy the event!
Booking Fees
There are no booking fees – the ticket price quoted is what you pay.
Ticket Delivery
Tickets are sent to you by email. We also keep a list of all bookers at the door to events – so don’t worry if you can’t find the email.
Ticket Reservations
Unpaid tickets cannot be reserved in advance.
Refunds, Resale & Cancellations
Refunds cannot be given for tickets. Please contact info@songsandshanties.co.uk if you are not able to attend and would like to exchange your tickets for another event. You are also welcome to give your tickets to friends and families.
Seating & Entry to Performances
All seats are unreserved and allocated on a first-come basis. If you arrive after the event has started you will be granted entry at a suitable point in the programme.

Babies & Children
Babies and children are welcome to attend all events. If they cause a disturbance you may be asked to leave the venue until they have settled enough to come back in.
Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome to all our venues. Other dogs may only attend our free outdoor events.
